Benefits of Partnering with PCOMS

The Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society (PCOMS) is the oldest professional physician organization in Pinellas County. In 2027 we will celebrate 70 years of continuous service to physicians, resident physicians, medical students and the allied health professional community. The PCOMS is the Fifth District of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, evolving from a small group of osteopathic physicians in 1957 to over 300 physicians and affiliates as of 2026.

Annually we host the largest Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference in Pinellas County with over 650 participants in January 2026. We provide scholarships to osteopathic medical students, sponsor community services and host the Pinellas County First Responder Recognition Luncheon during our annual conference. We support “The Annual Back to School Physicals” event held at Peaks of Health. This program provides back-to-school physicals, backpacks, school supplies and other school items needed at no cost to families.
