About PCOMS

A graduate of the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ottaviani completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in Detroit, followed by a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine through Wayne County Hospital/ University of Michigan and the University of South Florida.
He spent more than four decades in the clinical practice of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with Suncoast Internal Medicine Consultants while simultaneously shaping medical education as Chief Academic Officer/Designated Institutional Officer for Sun Coast Osteopathic Hospital and Largo Medical Center. He also served as Regional Dean for Nova Southeastern University’s Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has held appointments as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Nova Southeastern University and as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida. He has served as Medical Director of the Respiratory Therapy Program at St. Petersburg College since 1984.
Dr. Ottaviani has been recognized by Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and is a recipient of the American Osteopathic Association’s Distinguished Service Award. His leadership roles include serving as President of FOMA, ACOI, and the American Osteopathic Foundation, along with board service for multiple hospitals and academic institutions. He has chaired the FOMA delegation to the Annual AOA House of Delegates since 2012.

Lisa joined PCOMS in 1994 and is an integral part of the continued growth of our professional organization embracing our historical roots with a forward-thinking vision to apply lessons learned with new technologies and opportunities.
Lisa additionally served as the Executive Secretary for the Florida Academy of Osteopathy as well as Executive Secretary for the Florida Society American College of Osteopathic Physicians for several years. Her commitment and service to the Osteopathic Profession have been recognized by receiving the Distinguished Service award from the Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society, Singapore Unsung Hero Award from Northstar Meetings Group, Distinguished Service & Presidential Award from the Florida Academy of Osteopathy.
In her spare time Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog and four cats as well as traveling. Lisa’s family lives in Kentucky but that doesn’t interfere with a very special sibling relationship with frequent visits over the years.
Lisa is the central point of contact for PCOMS and is located at our office on Sunset Point in Clearwater. She looks forward to continued partnership with current PCOMS members and is excited to collaborate with new members.
